Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Suzie loved being at the farm where she felt safe, never needed a fence or leash, she knew she was loved and safe with me. She did go to the cottage and would walk the park with me. That is the reason she was never at any meet and greets or the fair, I couldn't ask her to feel un-safe. When I first got her we went to the expo and one of the members had to carry her in, she was sure she was back at the track.  My heart is sad.   I know  she is running free without pain at the rainbow bridge.  I will miss her everyday, but someday we will be together again.

Peggy, what can I say, she was one of a kind. She was Pams guardian, friend and loyal companion. She could never be left behind. She was only 6 years old but she had a wonderful life after the track. Peggy liked to run and play. She learned to loved the water, so she became a dock dog. Whenever her pool was even half filled, she always managed to take a dip. Didn't mater if there were other things to do. She was always getting wet. She will be very missed by all of us who knew her.

Sunny was a excellent hound, Sunny earned her CGC and went on to become a therapy greyt. Although Sunny was not a Greyhound Expressions dog, she went to all our M & Gs to help her friends. Sunny loved her food and cookies.  She never got enough.  Sunny had corns on her feet, but when it came to the Silmans picnic, you would have never known it.  We were all shocked to see her run. She is deeply missed by her family and everyone that new her. She will be missed  forever.
